Can I make calls from my Israeli phone when I am traveling outside of Israel?

NO! DO NOT use your phone out of the borders of Israel!

Unless you have a plan that specifically includes roaming, you will be charged a very high rate for calling and even receiving calls.

Also, if you have a kosher plan, in many cases your sim card will lock, even if the phone is just turned on out of Israel.

Make sure to keep your phone off when out of the country so you will have service when you return and so you won't have to pay for a new sim card.

In the event that your sim card locks, please contact us. 

Note: Local plans from most countries do not specifically include roaming in other countries. We strongly advise not to use your phone internationally. You may be charged a very high rate for calling/texting and even receiving calls/texts.

Call forwarding option

If you have our Virtual number plans and Xtra plans you could forward your phone numbers to a temporary US number when traveling to the US.

Xtra App option

If you have a Xtra plan and are traveling with a smartphone that has service when you travel, we could send you a calling app that you could make and receive calls using your Israeli phone numbers.
This app could be used worldwide.

To set up the app you will need to receive a code to your Israeli phone, therefore, the setup has to be done while still in Israel.
