For Kosher phones:
The Vaad Harabanim has imposed restrictions on kosher phones, preventing them from calling certain numbers deemed 'inappropriate' for the community. If you believe a specific number should be accessible, please contact the Vaad Harabanim at 02-5381858.
For All phones:
Cellular Israel plans are for person-to-person calls only. News-lines, hotlines and the like are not included. The provider blocks many lines that fit the above criteria.
If you experience a blocked call to a private user, please let us know so that we can rectify this with the provider.
Calling US numbers
Carriers have implemented features or apps for their customers to easily report numbers as Potential Spam and if enough reports are provided the number gets listed. Cell phones it is more difficult because customers can download one of multiple apps out there that flags numbers. There is no way to permanently make sure this number doesn’t get added to someone’s blacklist though the industry continues to work towards better labeling and mislabeling solutions.
