• To activate Voice2Text dial *#*#288682#*#* from the main screen. Let it run by itself and do not touch the phone while it's running. The top left star key ⭐ will be used for Talk2Text. Press to start and press to stop.
• The Messages key on the keyboard was switched to be a Home key. This is useful for getting to the main screen while on a call (e.g. while using Waze someone calls and you answer there is no way to get back to Waze). To get back to the phone call for whatever reason go to Apps and select Return To Call.
• To set up the keyboard go to Apps> Traditional T9 and press on Languages (fig. 1) then press on Languages again (fig. 2) then choose the the languages you want and press OK (fig. 3) then press Load Dictionary (fig. 4). It should take about 2 minutes. If the on screen keys are showing toggle them on then off in Traditional T9.
  
• To switch between ABC, 123, or T9 while typing press the # key. To switch between languages while typing long press the # key. To add a word to your T9 dictionary press the bottom left * key.
• There is a built-in mouse that works only when Waze Moovit and Siddur are open. To turn it on long press the top left star key ⭐. To turn it off short press the star key again. When the mouse is open Increase speed: vol up ,Decrease speed: vol down, Horizontal scroll: 4/6, Vertical scroll: 7/* or 9/# (The scroll is very useful for the siddur app)
• Make sure to allow all permissions for apps when asked to. Failure to do so will cause some apps not to function.
• If you are using Tracfone and you don’t have 4G it might be an APN issue. Go to Settings>Wireless & Networks>Mobile Network>Access Point Names click on Options>Edit and change the APN field to VZWINTERNET (all uppercase) then click on save.

There are 4 levels for filtering:

1. Waze only
   This level includes only access to the Waze app and Pango. All other features on the device such as the camera, calculator etc. will be disabled.
   Note: When selecting this option, you will not be able to change the filtering level to a different level!
2. Waze & Mail
   This level includes also access to email apps and will have other features such as the camera, calculator, PDF reader etc. enabled.
3. Extended Waze & Mail
   This level will include other basic apps such as Banking apps, Kupot Cholim, Rav Kav, Zoom etc.
4. Full protection (Whatsapp is only available on this level.)
   This allows access to about 6,000 apps to download from the app store.
   Important: If there is a specific app you want access to, that is not available in the app store, you can send a request to add it, and after a review, it will be added.

Note: A filtered browser is available in the the Full protection level and the Extended Waze & Mail level. However, it is not included automatically on the device, and you will need to request it explicitly.
