Info about Israeli phones
You can purchase Kosher phones, Talk and Text phones and Hadran filtered smartphones here.
Phones could be found as add-ons to long-term packages. See our long-term plans here. The correct phone type is listed on each package.
Note: Israeli Kosher SIMs only work in Israeli-certified kosher phones. Inserting an Israeli Kosher SIM into a non-certified phone may lock the SIM (charges may apply).
Please Note:
- 2G/3G phones are officially going out of service at the end of 2025 [2026] . until then they have to keep the network running.
- Most kosher sims dont even have 4g yet.
- 2G does have a little less coverage, but there are places that it works better.
This means the phone should be fine at least until 2026!

Below is a list of IMEIs for popular Israeli kosher phones that are certified and compatible with Kosher SIMs. This list is not all inclusive, so even if your phone is not on the list your phone might still be compatible.

To check if your phone is compatible, dial from the phone *#06#. See if the first digits of the IMEI match any number from the following list:

If you have a Pelephone plan, not all 3G phones will work. You will need to check the IMEI and then call 050-50-100-50 to see if it is compatible with Pelephone.

Israeli kosher phones will only work with Israeli kosher plans.
Most Israel kosher מאושר phones work with our plans.
Some of the older models have been found not to be compatible with our Xtra plans.
Below is a list of phones that we have experience that they do not work with Cellular Israel's Xtra plan and we have no way to update the phone.

Israel Nonkosher phone or Any Non-Israeli phone

Israeli nonkosher phones will only work with Israeli nonkosher plans.
If you have an Israeli Nonkosher phone OR if your device is unlocked, it should work with an Israeli sim card.
You can find this out by contacting whoever you got your handset from, often your service provider.
